Colin Cowherd....I hate him...but sometimes he is AWESOME!!

Colin Cowherd is your usual blowhard sports guy with his own radio/tv show. Now typically he is a jackass like most of the rest of them. I think this on a daily basis as I listen to him rant about whatever the hell is up his ass at the moment. That was until here recently when he found a moment of clarity!:


And I quote: "Virgnia Tech is the most overrated Top 10 team in the country" "I've said it for a year....I don't like them at all....They've got a very mediocre QB"

Another year another disappointment!!

Well it's that time of year again. What time of year is that you may ask? Time for the Chokies to come in to a new year with a good national ranking only to disappoint. Status Quo for Beamer's choke artists. The Chokies are ranked 6th in the USA Today Poll and 10th in the AP poll. Guess I do not give the AP enough credit when it comes to common sense but it looks like those voters are much more intelligent than the USA Today voters.

Recently Frankie boy signed a contract extension through 2016. Bud Foster has an annuity coming up after the 2014 season that stipulates if he is the DC for the Hokies until after the 2014 season he gets $800k! Look for Bud to take a head coaching position somewhere then Chokie fans.

The Hokies first test is Boise St. BSU is returning 21 out of 22 starters. VT's offense looks pretty good but their defense will be suspect which is unusual for them. Lets look at some Hokie fan predictions for the game courtesy of Rivals.com site Hokiehaven.com
